Please join researchers, educators, policy makers and business service providers from around the world at the 53rd International Council for Small Business (ICSB) World Conference, being held at the World Trade and Convention Centre, Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada. The conference is scheduled to begin on Sunday, June 22, and end on Wednesday, June 25, 2008 at 2:00 pm. The theme of the conference is "Advancing Small Business and Entrepreneurship: From Research to Results". A key aim of the conference is to bridge the gap between research and action.

Halifax, the capital city of Nova Scotia, Canada, has a population of 360,000 and is the largest city east of Quebec City and north of Boston. Halifax Regional Municipality offers a dynamic and intriguing mix of heritage and culture, with a cosmopolitan feel.
