Acadia Centre for Social and Business Entrepreneurship

The Acadia Centre for Social and Business Entrepreneurship's vision is "Everyone, Everywhere recognizing and reaching their entrepreneurial potential". We are dedicated to contributing to the development of an entrepreneurial culture in the community of Acadia University, the Central Southwest Region of Nova Scotia, the Province and Atlantic Region, Canada, and the World, by developing and delivering quality programming in business development, community, social and personal entrepreneurship, and research. This will be achieved by leveraging the intellectual resources of Acadia University, other education, corporate, community, and government institutions.

Services offered by the Acadia Centre for Social and Business Entrepreneurship include Business Consulting, Business Counselling, Counselling for youth business in the future, and Consulting for Students. Programs that are offered include Self Employment Benefits (SEB) Program and the Small Business Management Certificate Program, which assists managers of small businesses, not for profit managers, and corporate unity and community organization managers to enhance their skills in the strategic management of their organization.
